Nuneaton Ladies Hockey Club

The purpose of the Blackout is to cover the cost of the after match teas.

During/after a hockey home game people are invited to pay £1 to pick a team. Once all the teams are sold, the team at the bottom will then be revealed. The person who ‘bought’ the team uncovered wins the jackpot.

The jackpot is the sum of all the teams sold minus £15 to pay for the teas.

If not all the teams are sold, the club will purchase the remaining teams with the monies from the subs. If a team wins that the club has purchased the winnings shall go towards the club.

Anyone is entitled to take part in the blackout irrespective of whether they are members of Nuneaton Ladies Hockey Club.
